What is Forge?

Forge is a personal discipline operating system that helps individuals track their habits, goals, finances, and calendar in one unified interface. Forge is currently in personal use and beta.

What data we collect

Forge collects only the data you provide directly:

  • Account information (email address, name)
  • Habit tracking data (habit names, completion logs)
  • Financial data (transactions, net worth snapshots, budgets)
  • Goals and milestones
  • Calendar events you create within Forge
  • Reflections and journal entries
  • Google Calendar events (only when you connect Google Calendar)

Google Calendar data

If you choose to connect your Google Calendar, Forge will:

  • Read your calendar events to display them within Forge
  • Create new events on your behalf when you add events in Forge
  • Store your Google access token securely to maintain the connection

Forge will NOT:

  • Share your calendar data with any third parties
  • Use your calendar data for advertising or analytics
  • Delete or modify existing Google Calendar events without your explicit action
  • Access calendar data beyond what is necessary to display your schedule

Google Calendar connection is entirely optional. You can disconnect at any time from Settings → Integrations → Google Calendar.

Forge's use of Google Calendar data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How we store your data

All Forge data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL), a secure cloud database provider. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. API keys you provide (such as your Anthropic API key) are stored locally in your browser and never sent to our servers.

Data sharing

Forge does not sell, trade, or share your personal data with any third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Your data is your own.

Your rights

You can export all your Forge data at any time from Settings → Data → Export. You can delete your account and all associated data by contacting us. You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from Settings → Integrations.
